Onsite parking nonexistent!!! Small elevator access only partially solves luggage issues, especially for seniors!!! Breakfast offerings could be improved to match the appeal of the restaurant space!!!

Loved the unique vibe of Hotel Thaxter! The building transformation from an old church provided a charming atmosphere. The heated bathroom floor added a luxurious touch, really nice after a long day out. The Deluxe Double Room was spacious and beautifully decorated. I appreciated the modern amenities like keyless entry and strong shower pressure. The staff were fantastic at offering local dining recommendations and were always just a text away. Plenty of complimentary snacks and drinks available in the lobby made our stay even better. However, reaching our room on the second floor through a narrow elevator was tricky with our luggage, and I felt breakfast should be offered even in a limited form, given the appealing restaurant space on-site. The parking situation was initially confusing, but we arrived at a convenient solution after some searching. Overall, I'd definitely consider returning, but a few improvements could elevate the experience.
